Feature on Dalai Lama MasterChef episode
Kylie Kwong’s upcoming range of ceramic tableware and a wide array of Oxfam’s other fair trade kitchen and homewares products adorned the set of the special MasterChef episode screened on Sunday 17 July.
“Oxfam is very excited about a wide range of our fair trade products being featured on the ‘Dalai Lama episode’ of MasterChef,” said Oxfam’s Nadine Silverberg.
Kylie Kwong’s new tableware range ‘The Lotus’, which is being designed and produced in collaboration with Oxfam, took centre stage on the episode. Other products featured included Oxfam’s hand-crafted crockery, platters, candle holders and table runners.
“Our vision is to make beautiful hand-crafted products like these, which also help their producers earn better wages and receive improved working conditions, accessible to all Australians,” Ms Silverberg said.
